A generic term for plastics (resins) produced by chemical reactions through polymerization initiators and heat applied to any of the monomers. The chemical name for the resin polymerized from methyl methacrylate monomer (MMA) is polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). MMA is a colorless transparent fluid substance. One of the main characteristics of PMMA is its high transparency. With its high weather resistance, it can last for more than 30 years, it doesn't easily turn yellow or collapse, and it can be exposed to sunlight. Not only used in aquarium transparent Windows, but also used in a variety of items, such as signs, convenience stores and other places, car taillights, bathtub liners, sinks, mobile phone display screens, light waveguides for liquid crystal displays (LCDS) backlight and polymethyl methacrylate and so on.
